ordinary, extraordinary.

I breathe to exist.
And I exist for beauty.

(beauty of the extraordinary, of the ordinary,
of the divine, of the human experience)

And in those rare & beautiful instances,
when I open my blind eyes to see,
I discover that even while my trembling knees
fall onto holy ground

I find myself standing in awe

of the extraordinarily, ordinary beauty
of this earthly life.
And I wonder,
with awe
with excitement
& with hope

how much more will heaven be?
